Semantic Database: Concept, Architecture and Implementation
/Read about why we need a Semantic Database. The first half of the article discusses the purpose of a semantic database and why existing relational, graph, and NoSQL databases don't quite fit the bill. We also explore the concepts of semantics and ontology and how they are interrelated and fully represented in a Semantic Database. The second half is a technical description of the implementation as a HOPE receptor.
